The trend of large-scale wind turbines in the world has been obvious in the past year.
Driven by the UK offshore wind market, many wind turbine manufacturers announced plans to manufacture large wind turbines around 2012. According to BTM statistics, in 2012, the average capacity of a single wind turbine newly added in the market was 1.847MW, an increase of 170KW over the previous year. The single average wind turbine capacity in the cumulative market was 1.284MW, an increase of 77KW over the previous year.
